Rays starting pitcher Matt Moore said he's awaiting the results of an MRI, but added his elbow felt "extremely better" when he woke up Tuesday morning and is cautiously optimistic he won't need to go on the disabled list.
Moore said he had free range of motion in his arm. Moore left his start Monday against the Royals because of soreness in his left elbow.
