Rays starter Matt Moore pitched a gem Monday in Houston. Facing the hapless Astros, Moore dazzled with a two-hit shutout.

He got plenty of run support behind him in a blowout victory to improve to 11-3 on the season with a 3.65 ERA. He walked three batters and struck out nine over 101 pitches.

Walks continue to be an issue for Moore, who has issued 12 in his last three outings. The good news is he's back to winning, as he's picked up victories in all three of those outings with four runs allowed over 19 1/3 innings and 24 Ks. Moore is scheduled to start Saturday against the White Sox.
