Rosario is out of the lineup Friday against the Phillies, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
Rosario started the past two games and went 4-for-7 with three runs, three RBI and a walk, but he'll take a seat for Friday's series opener. Andres Gimenez will start at shortstop and bat ninth for the Mets.
