The Mets designated Conley for assignment Tuesday.

Conley's first stint in the majors lasted only two days, and he did not make an appearance. He will likely clear waivers and report to Syracuse, where he's posted a 3.86 ERA and 11:15 K:BB over 18.2 innings in 2026.
