Lindor went 3-for-4 with three home runs, three runs, five RBI and a walk in a 7-6 victory over the Yankees on Sunday.
Lindor powered the Mets offense Sunday with a three-run home run in the first inning and solo shots in the sixth and eighth, with the latter proving to be the deciding run in the game. With the impressive feat against the Mets' archrivals, Lindor has finally been initiated into New York baseball given his dismal performance for much of the season. The electric shortstop has turned things around in September with a .273/.377/.727 slash line in 12 games this month, though Sunday's performance is responsible for a large portion of the recent success.
