Davis will have surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left hand immediately after the season concludes, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
Davis has battled the injury throughout the season, with surgery initially being deemed unnecessary. However, he'll now fly to Ohio immediately after the season to have the procedure done. Davis will require two months off after the surgery, and will be in a splint for four-to-six weeks. It is expected that Davis will be fully healthy well before the start of spring training.
