McCann isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
McCann went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in Wednesday's loss to the Giants, and he'll be out of the lineup for the second time in the last three games. Tomas Nido will start behind the plate and bat ninth.
