The Mets optioned Brigham to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Brigham was charged with three earned runs while recording only one out in his last appearance Sunday versus the Giants. He holds a 5.16 ERA in 29.2 major-league innings this year.
