McNeil isn't starting Friday's game against Atlanta, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
McNeil went 1-for-2 with two runs, a stolen base and a walk in Thursday's win over Miami, and he'll head to the bench for the second time in the last three games. Dominic Smith will start in left field and bat fifth.
