Crick (calf) has been sent to Single-A St. Lucie to begin a rehab assignment, Michael Mayer of MetsmerizedOnline.com reports.
Crick signed a minor-league contract with the Mets over the winter but has been sidelined all season with a calf strain. He'll eventually move up to Triple-A Syracuse and could potentially be an option for the Mets' bullpen in September if he's pitching well.
