With Matt Harvey (shoulder) expected to miss several weeks, Pill could take his next turn in the rotation before the Mets switch back to a five-man rotation. Pill made a pair of spot starts earlier in the season, allowing six runs (four earned) on 14 hits and three walks while striking out eight through 10.1 innings.
