The Mets outrighted Brujan to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Brujan has the ability to elect free agency, but he accepted an outright assignment by the Mets previously and could do so again. If he does stick around in the organization, Brujan will give the Mets utility depth. The 28-year-old is a career .197/.266/.272 hitter over parts of six major-league seasons.
