The Blue Jays declined Straw's $8 million club option for the 2027 season Monday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Straw will head to free agency after slashing .241/.304/.342 with three home runs, 26 RBI, 44 runs scored, seven stolen bases and a 27:44: BB:K across 330 plate appearances last season. The 32-year-old still provides value on defense and the basepaths, but he's never packed much punch with the bat.
