Strange-Gordon is starting Saturday against the Brewers.
The 34-year-old wasn't initially listed among Saturday's starters, but he'll start at shortstop and bat ninth after Alcides Escobar (undisclosed) was removed from the lineup. Over nine games since the start of May, Strange-Gordon has hit .185 with two runs, an RBI and three strikeouts.
