Wood (oblique) has extended his flat-ground throwing to 120 feet and has resumed hitting off a tee, Danielle Allentuck of The Washington Post reports.
Wood is three weeks removed from suffering a left oblique strain, and he's starting to up his activity level. A timeline for Wood's return to the Nationals' active roster won't become clearer until he's taking batting practice, and the slugger could require a rehab assignment before coming back.
