The New York lineup appeared to have the rookie southpaw's number all evening, as Parker generated a paltry four whiffs and has allowed five runs to the Mets in both his starts against them. Overall, he's now pitched to a 4.44 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 128:41 K:BB across 146 innings this season. The 24-year-old Parker is currently slated to make his next start against the Royals at home next week.
