Gomes was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a left oblique strain, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Gomes exited Friday's game in San Francisco with the oblique injury will now be sidelined until after the All-Star break. It's unclear how long an absence he'll require, but Jakson Reetz was called up Saturday to handle backup catching duties for however long Gomes is out.
