Suarez (6-4) pitched six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday against Boston, allowing seven hits and zero walks while striking out six.

Suarez was excellent Sunday, scattering seven hits (all singles) to notch his fourth quality start of the season. Suarez has been excellent since taking over Grayson Rodriguez's (lat) spot in the rotation Aug. 6, firing 17.2 scoreless innings in three starts. The 34-year-old now sports a 3.18 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 78:33 K:BB in 96.1 innings (17 starts) this season. He is tentatively scheduled to face the Astros next weekend.
