Burnes (13-7) picked up the win Monday against the White Sox, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits and one walk across five innings. He struck out four.

Burnes struck out four or fewer for a third straight start, but he was able to get back into the win column after taking three consecutive losses. Since the start of August, Burnes has a 6.46 ERA and a 16:8 K:BB across 30.2 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to close out a two-start week this weekend against Tampa Bay.
