Bundy (6-4) pitched 4.1 innings, allowing five runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out two in Wednesday's loss to the Red Sox.
The 23-year-old's streak of five solid outings (4-1 with a 1.84 ERA during that stretch) came to a screeching halt Tuesday. Bundy surrendered a season high in runs and hits while notching the lowest strikeout total for any of his seven starts this season. Considering how he's pitched so far, the right-hander is deserving of at least one free pass -- especially considering this one was against the league's top offense. Bundy will look to get back on track in his next start Monday against the Nationals.
