Mateo is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Astros.
Mateo will begin Saturday's game in the dugout after going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 14-11 loss to Houston. Jordan Westburg and Ramon Urias will man second and third base, respectively, against Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco.
