The Orioles acquired Rogers from the Marlins on Tuesday in exchange for infielder Connor Norby and outfielder Kyle Stowers, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Rogers entered June with a 5.65 ERA on the season but has been much better since then, posting a 3.48 ERA over his last 10 starts. He has an underwhelming 41:21 K:BB over 54.1 innings during the latter stretch, however, and his velocity has been down all season. Baltimore paid a steep price to acquire Rogers, but it must feel it can unlock more from the left-hander, who is likely to slot in as the club's No. 5 starter. He'll likely make his Orioles debut during the club's four-game series in Cleveland that begins Thursday.
