Miley was handed a loss in Tuesday's game against the Rays as he allowed three earned runs over three innings.
Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reported that Miley was feeling somewhat sick, but was feeling well enough to pitch. Even if he'd been feeling at his best, seeing Miley put on a subpar showing wouldn't come as much of a surprise. During the 2016 season he threw for a 5.37 ERA and 1.42 WHIP, marking the third consecutive season that he posted marks above 4.30 and 1.35, respectively.
