The Padres recalled Sullivan from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
Sullivan will take the place of Luis Campusano (thumb) on the active roster as Campusano hits the injured list. Sullivan should operate as the primary backup to Kyle Higashioka while Campusano is sidelined.
