O'Grady cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A El Paso on Friday.
O'Grady filled a minor role as a depth outfielder this season but didn't acquit himself well, hitting .157/.267/.333 in 61 plate appearances. Heading into his age-30 season, it's no surprise to see him fail to get claimed off waivers given that he's yet to find success at the major-league level.
