O'Grady hit a solo home run in his only plate appearance during Sunday's loss to the Marlins.
With San Diego trailing 9-2 and down to its final out, O'Grady provided a brief delay of the inevitable with a solo shot to right field. The long ball was his second of the campaign. O'Grady has slashed an impressive .314/.387/.628 in the minors this season but has been mostly unproductive with the big club, batting .178 with a 27.3 percent strikeout rate.
