Padres rookie catcher Austin Hedges gave his club an early 1-0 lead, as he belted a solo home run in the third inning on Saturday. It was his only hit of the game, as the Padres went on to beat the Rockies 5-4.
It was Hedges' second home run of the year, as he has been seeing partial playing time behind Derek Norris. Saturday's start was just his second in the last seven games.
