Peralta went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 7-6 victory over the Pirates.
Peralta built upon the Padres' early lead with his two-run blast to right field in the second inning. It was his second homer over his past four games, a stretch during which the veteran outfielder has gone 4-for-10 with three walks and five RBI. Peralta had only two long balls over 49 contests prior to the four-game surge.
