Merrill (knee) is starting in center field and batting seventh Sunday against the Giants.

The 21-year-old was held out of Saturday's lineup after fouling a ball off his knee Friday, but he'll return to action for Sunday's series finale. Merrill is in a bit of a mini-slump, as he's gone 0-for-8 with two strikeouts in his past three games.
