Padres' Jake Arrieta: Dealing with groin injury

Arrieta was diagnosed with a right adductor strain after leaving Sunday's start against the Cardinals.

The veteran right-hander recorded one out during the first inning before being lifted with the injury, and he was charged with five runs (four earned) on three hits and a walk. Arrieta missed some time a few weeks ago with a hamstring injury, and he's now managing the groin issue. It's unclear if the injury will affect his next turn through the rotation.
