The Padres recalled Brito from Triple-A El Paso on Friday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Brito will join the big club for the first time since being optioned June 24, taking Randy Vasquez's place on the 26-man roster. Brito has pitched 41.1 innings for the Padres this season, logging a 4.35 ERA with a 26:9 K:BB. He hasn't recorded a hold and has blown three saves.
