Bell isn't in the lineup for Game 1 of San Diego's NLDS matchup against the Dodgers on Tuesday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
After going 3-for-13 with two RBI in the NL Wild Card Series against the Mets, Bell will get a day off Tuesday. Brandon Drury will serve as the Padres' designated hitter instead and bat fourth.
