King (10-9) earned the win over the Yankees on Sunday, allowing no runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three across six innings.
King has no pitched 19 consecutive scoreless innings in his last three starts for the Padres. The 31-year-old has lowered his season ERA to 3.00 over that span to go along with a 1.17 WHIP and 144 strikeouts over 168 innings. The righty next lines up for a favorable matchup next weekend in San Francisco.
