The Padres signed Pint to a minor-league contract Tuesday.
Pint signed a minor-league deal with the Guardians last offseason but never wound up pitching in their organization or anywhere else in 2025, presumably due to an undisclosed injury. The one-time No. 4 overall draft pick has been tattooed for nine runs over 3.2 innings during his brief time in the majors.
