The veteran first baseman started and ended the scoring Friday with a two-run homer during the opening frame and a sac fly in the fifth. After a few down seasons, France has gotten back on track at the plate in 2026 with 18 home runs and a .293/.353/.521 slash line through 102 games. He's started at first base in 36 of San Diego's past 37 games.
