Bogaerts isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Miami.
Bogaerts has slashed .316/.409/.474 across 66 plate appearances while starting every game since the beginning of September, but the Padres will get him some rest Saturday. Jake Cronenworth will shift to shortstop as a result, putting Fernando Tatis at second base and allowing Samad Taylor to make a start in the outfield.
