Solarte went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and three RBI against the Mets on Wednesday.
He's put together a pair of two-hit games in a row since sitting out Sunday; that may not seem like much, but Solarte's last two-hit game before this came way back on April 29. It's been a scuffle for the fourth-year vet, but his impressive 16:19 BB:K and deflated BABIP suggest that better results could be in his future.
