Florimon elected to become a free agent Saturday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Florimon will test the open market rather than accept his outright assignment to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The utility man appeared in just 50 games for the Phillies in 2018 due to a broken foot, hitting .225/.276/.423 with two homers and five RBI.
