Phillies' Alan Rangel: Takes loss in bulk relief

Rangel (0-1) took the loss against the Mets on Saturday, allowing four runs on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Rangel pitched well early but unraveled in a four-run sixth inning he was unable to escape. Through three outings with the Phillies this season, the 28-year-old owns a 4.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB across 12 innings. Should he remain in the club's rotation plans, he'd line up for a home matchup against the Pirates next week.
