Rupp is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.

He made highlight reels in that matchup for his defensive prowess, hanging on to the ball despite a collision at the plate to effectively preserve the Philadelphia lead. Carlos Ruiz will man the backstop in his stead for the afternoon contest.
