Rupp is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals, Stephen Gross of The Morning Call reports.
Despite his collection of five hits (including two home runs) over his past three contests, Rupp will head to the bench Sunday in favor of backup catcher Andrew Knapp. The starter should be back in the lineup for the Phillies' next game Tuesday against the Mariners.
