Crawford will be called up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to join the Phillies prior to their game Tuesday against the Mets, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
Crawford finished his season at Lehigh Valley in style, going 1-for-3 with his career-best 15th home run of the season. The 2013 first-round pick got off to a terrible start this season, hitting just .203/.321/.276 with two home runs through the end of June. He has turned things around since July 1, however, slashing .285/.385/.544 with 13 home runs in 228 at-bats. Crawford is expected to see playing time at shortstop, second base and third base in order to get him some at-bats this month.
