Crawford is hitting .159/.282/.193 with two stolen bases in 88 at-bats for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Crawford had a terrible month of April but has bounced back this month with a .250/.400/.250 slash line in 12 at-bats. The young shortstop is striking out more this season, but he is also showing a better eye at the plate than his first taste of Triple-A last season. His .215 BABIP also suggests he has been a bit unlucky. Crawford will likely turn things around, but it is clear he is not going to be earning an early promotion to the majors this season. The Phillies are likely going to want to see sustained success at Triple-A before considering him for a role in the majors.
