Realmuto isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Cubs due to right shoulder inflammation, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Realmuto dealt with a shoulder injury in late August, and the issue has flared up recently. However, manager Joe Girardi said the catcher received an injection after Sunday's game, and the team is hopeful that he'll be able to start against the Cubs on Wednesday.
