Hoskins made his lone hit of the contest count, as he took Collin McHugh yard in the eighth inning to record his 27th homer of the season. After roughly a two-week absence caused by a groin injury, Hoskins has delivered three home runs across three games (two starts). For the season, he has maintained a strong .247/.334/.530 line with 71 RBI and 64 runs scored across 443 plate appearances.
