Phillies' Tanner Banks: Officially recalled Saturday

The Phillies recalled Banks from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

The move corresponds with right-hander Alan Rangel being optioned to Lehigh Valley following Thursday's game against the Pirates. Banks has spent the majority of the 2026 season in the majors but has been in Triple-A since mid-June. Across 26 major-league games this season, Banks has a 5.86 ERA, 1.92 WHIP, two holds and a 31:13 K:BB across 27.2 innings.
