Falter did not factor into the decision in Friday's 6-5 win against the Reds, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings.
Falter yielded nine hard-hit balls while generating just six swinging strikes on 79 pitches. The southpaw has not lost any of his six outings since returning from the injured list, but he also hasn't logged a quality start in that span. On the season, he owns a 4.25 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 79:33 K:BB across 112.1 innings and lines up for a road matchup with the Guardians next week.
