Falter (8-7) earned the win Wednesday over Miami, allowing two hits and three walks over 7.1 scoreless innings. He struck out five.

Falter was excellent, holding the Marlins to just a pair of singles. The scoreless effort marked Falter's first quality start since June 18 -- he hadn't gone more than 5.2 innings in any of his previous 10 outings, posting a 5.79 ERA in that span. The left-hander's ERA now sits at 4.20 on the season with a 1.27 WHIP and 89:39 K:BB across 128.2 innings. Falter's currently lined up for a road matchup with the Cardinals in his next outing.
