Reynolds went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk Monday in a 5-3 victory versus the Cubs.
Pittsburgh was shut out by Jameson Taillon through seven frames before Reynolds turned the tide of the contest in the eighth with a three-run homer off reliever Jorge Lopez to knot the score. The long ball was his 21st of the season, moving him to within five homers of reaching the career-high mark of 27 he set in 2022. Reynolds has gone deep three times in his past seven games and is batting .333 (9-for-27) with six RBI, five walks and two stolen bases over that span.
