Davis is expected to be called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Davis will return to the major-league roster for the first time since mid-June after producing a .301 average with six home runs, 26 RBI, 25 runs scored and seven stolen bases since his demotion. The 24-year-old will replace Joey Bart (hamstring) in a timeshare at catcher with Yasmani Grandal after Bart is officially placed on the 10-day injured list Monday.
